, 03/11/2011] A must see, but don't expect too much as people go with very high expectations and get disappointed. It is an architectural marvel but it could have been maintained better. They have tour guides to explain everything and also people outside the main building taking pictures where you can act like you are touching the top of the Taj. Though photography is prohibited in the main building which is where they are buried but people still take pictures. Specially inside the main building people should be careful of pick pocketers.

Visitors almost "expect to be disappointed" by the Taj because it's such an iconic building but in reality "the beauty" is almost impossible to prepare for. The building has "perfect" symmetry, "ethereal" luminescence, and "wonderful" proportions, as well as "exquisite" - all of which justify it's status as a "wonder of the world". It's like a "massive bejeweled box". On either side of the tomb there are mosques - only one of which is real, the other is a "dummy" which is there just to maintain the "symmetry". The building dates to the 17th Century and took "20,000 laborers 22 years to complet
