[more]Opposite to the sea of the Etna Vulcan, bordering the "La Timpa" Natural reserve, very near the baroque old town centre of Acireale and its thermal baths, the Aloha d'Oro is situated in one of the most suggestive places of Sicily.
It is surrounded by a citrus fruit garden that connects it to the sea and is a structure in which the local nature and culture blend, in order to give you unique emotions and moments of great well-being.
The Aloha was built in 1968 by using the traditional materials of the Etna farms and is a sample of the creativity and artisan art of Etna: wrought iron banisters which are each different from another, according to original designs; inserts of lava stone and ceramics, furniture of solid hand-carved wood. Inside, the hotel is organised like a village: a central part - the Castle - connected to the satellite parts by little streets, terraces, yards and gardens which all together give a suggestive and romantic effect.

All rooms are provided with telephone, air conditioning, heating, multi-frequency telephone and TV, hair dryer, mini-fridge, bathroom en suite, furniture in solid beech-wood, floors with hand-painted ceramic, a safe that is substituted by service at the reception, if it is not present.
A totally natural and Mediterranean breakfast is the best way to start the day: for this reason Aloha suggests to try the excellent regional products: biological bergamot jam (our own production), lemon and orange honey from Etna, zagara honey cake, bread from Bronte produced with natural yeast. And when the weather is good (that is very often) it is possible to have breakfast on the terrace with view of the sea, under the shade of a pergola of wisteria. In the restaurant, the hotel suggests, as a tradition, a territory cuisine with specialities of first courses that are different every evening and second courses based on local fish such as anchovies, tuna, mussels, etc. (not battery fish), all accompanied by Sicilian wines. The pizzeria is open every Friday and Saturday.
The hotel is 200 metres far from one of the most suggestive stretches of the Etna - Ionic coasts and has a private path to get close to the sea.
In summer the hotel has a terrace equipped with deck chairs and beach-umbrellas around the two swimming pools, open from June to September, and the possibility to have direct access to water by stairs or, in alternative, shuttle service to a bath establishment 10 minutes from hotel, with pebble beach, deck chairs and beach umbrellas.On request it is possible to carry out guided diving in the very rich and very colourful sounding-depths in front of the hotel.
The hotel has also 4 conference rooms: 350, 82, 40 and 26 square metres. They are all equipped with: paper, pencils, pens, flip-chart, overhead projector, screen, wireless connection, video register and colour TV, amplification and microphone system, mineral water. On request it would be possible to have also PC with VDP, conference service, video-data-projector, coffee breaks.
The well-appreciated Beauty centre suggests treatments which could characterise an holiday like with relaxation . And for those who want to try the sulphurous bromine-iodine water that origins from the Vulcan, they could find it just 300 metres from the hotel, in the regional Thermal baths.
