[happydays, 12/10/2011] Our family of four had a perfect time at Beachfront Salvanos! The hotel is right on the Acharavi beach, so it is easy to go out and swim in the sea, but there is also a pool next door for hotel guests, which the kids spent a lot of time in as well. We stayed in an apartment with a kitchen and two bedrooms and a living area. Everything was very clean and well run. The owner is available on site or by phone for any questions. The town of Acharavi has everything you need for a great vacation - sea, mountain views, restaurants and shopping. Beachfront Salvanos fit our needs perfectly, and fo

[KathB, 31/05/2011] Quite simply the standard is excellent; very high standard of clealiness from rooms(cleaned every day !!) to across the whole site. Very helpful and considerate staff who helped make our stay even better. We could find no fault at all with Matoula Apartments and would recommend. It is situated 2 mins from the shops to the right and two minutes to the beach on the left.
[nancy1, 20/08/2009] We booked through jetair for the calm part and ended up in Mare B. This seems not to be part of Gelina but of the luxuary villas complex almyros villas. Since we booked all in at Gelina we could make use of the facilities at almyros villas as well as of the gelina complex (inclusif waterpark). There was a shuttle bus available to go from almyros villas to gelina - the ride took 3 minutes - walking about 15 minutes. The shuttle service was terrible. Usually you had to wait 20-30 minutes before a shuttle arrived. I am prepared to wait for 10 minutess- but waiting for 20 minutes - you loose a lot
