The interior of the house retains the original features of ancient brick masonry and a barrel vault as well as original antiques adorning two bedrooms and the large living room. The B & B is in Controguerra, located 267 meters above sea level, 10 km from the sea and the sandy beaches of Alba Adriatica, between the provinces of Ascoli Piceno and Teramo, in a panoramic position among the hills and ridges of Marche Abruzzo. It boasts, in addition to the landscape, a temperate climate with the nearby sea and mountains of Laga.
The structure was established in 2003, an idea for the owners of the house had had for some time and is located in the countryside, in a rustic farmhouse. It is completely restructured, and dates back to 1800. The wines of the area, montepulciano and trebbiano d'abruzzo, and agricultural products are grown on land in front of the Bed and Breakfast, covering about 4 hectares and an integral part of the property. Even today, the olive trees surrounding the house produce good olive oil. All the wines and many other genuine products can be tasted.
The nearest airport is Pescara, which is about 60 km away. Controguerra can be reached in few minutes by car, San Benedetto del Tronto on the coast or medieval Ascoli Piceno, a city of art and history, are both about 20 km away. The Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo is nearby, or take advantage of nearby facilities that offer fun and entertainment such as Acquapark, disco, horse-riding, watersports on the lakes.
