Frommer's describes the Palm Court Hotel as a "well-run hotel" and even though it is set away from the centre of town it is still the hotel that locals "recommend to visitors". He continues by saying that this hotel is "tranquil and known for its good value" and the bedrooms "are comfortably furnished and well decorated" each room coming with "a small but tidily kept bathroom". We are also told that the "Hickory's Restaurant" on site is "a good dining room " which specialises in "fine Scottish food such as salmon".
Frommer's recommends a visit to the Palm Court Hotel.
