Being franchised, the Holiday Inn brand can differ greatly, but my stay at the Holiday Inn next to the Aberdeen Exhibition Centre stands yards above most.
The staff were SUPERB!
Being disabled I can be a challenge at the best of times, but nothing - and I do mean nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Always greeted and treated with smiling professionalism and respect, they catered for my own needs and other guests with a coutesy others can only deam about.
Better still, besides the normal boring Holiday Inn menu's they added some of their own, and on my two night stay either I and my fellow guests were very lucky, or the excellant and not over priced food as the norm - and I suspect it was.
If touring the area this is a great location away from the centre yet accessable to major routes. Breakfast was the usual Holiday Inn standard, which is good, but only Mercure provide orange juice that tastes of oranges!
