My partner and I have just returned from my first ever cooking holiday. It was a great experience. I was really pleasantly surprized as I am not really into cooking at all, but this holiday was much more than just being in the kitchen. We were well looked after by the Australian/Italian couple, Guido and Sally, who run these holidays. Housed in a beautifully renovated home within the medieval walls of a hilltop village called Toffia. We were taken on excursions, toured around an olive grove, lead around the back streets of Rome, sampled local wines and had some amazing food. There was plenty of time to relax and lots of time learning how to cook, italian style! Overall a fabulous experience and one I will remember with a smile. My only complaint is that I ate too much!!
